The hoodie/track suit was first created by the French for athletes in 1930's but then only becomes a real hit almost 30 years later when adidas made a clean track jacket and jogger twinset.
Around the 1970's is where sweatshirts and joggers really took off in the 'Hip Hop' emerged with groups such as Run-DMC brought the street style to the pushing forward how tracksuits are seen in the public eye.
Which then brings us to now, tracksuits have been globally accepted as casual menswear, sweatshirts, hoodies & tracksuits being accepted as smart casual depending on the trouser that it is being matched with.
